Welcome to Qibla Compass ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using this mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be indicated by changing the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Qibla Compass is a mobile application designed to help Muslims find the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca (Qibla direction) and view accurate daily prayer times. The App includes features such as:

• Real-time compass showing Qibla direction
• Daily prayer times based on user location
• Interactive map showing distance to the Kaaba
• Multiple visual themes and customization options
• Various prayer time calculation methods
• Automatic dark mode

3. License and Restrictions

3.1 Limited License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a compatible iOS device that you own or control.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App
• Distribute, transfer, sublicense, lease, or rent the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Make the App's functionality available to multiple users
• Use the App for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices on the App

4. Requirements and Permissions

4.1 Device Requirements

The App requires an iOS device running iOS 13.0 or later. It may request access to:

• Location Services (GPS): to determine your position for accurate Qibla and prayer times
• Compass and accelerometer: to determine direction and orientation
• Notifications (optional): for prayer time alerts

4.2 Accuracy

The accuracy of Qibla direction and prayer times depends on your device's sensors, GPS accuracy, and chosen calculation method. While we strive to provide reliable information, we cannot guarantee perfect accuracy under all conditions.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and all its original content, features, and design are owned and developed by Oleksandr Ulianov and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

The Qibla Compass name, logo, and related design elements are the property of Oleksandr Ulianov. You may not use them without prior written permission.

6. Religious and Cultural Considerations

Qibla Compass is intended solely as a helpful tool to assist Muslims in finding the Qibla direction and prayer times. The App provides several recognized calculation methods to accommodate different schools of thought.

While every effort is made to ensure religious and cultural accuracy, users are encouraged to consult local religious authorities to confirm which calculation method best suits their practice.

The App is not intended as a definitive or authoritative source of religious rulings.

If you have feedback, concerns, or suggestions regarding the App's religious accuracy, please contact us.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

While every effort has been made to ensure the App operates correctly and provides accurate information, we do not guarantee that it will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely precise under all conditions.

You acknowledge that factors such as device sensors, magnetic interference, GPS accuracy, and selected calculation methods may affect results. Accordingly, you agree to use the App at your own discretion and risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App.

In no event shall our total liability for any claim exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using the App within the twelve (12) months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oleksandr Ulianov and Qibla Compass from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may include links to third-party websites or services (such as the App Store or map services). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those third parties.

Your use of such third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide additional rights, those rights will remain unaffected.

13. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the App at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App or any part thereof.

14. Accessibility

We are committed to making Qibla Compass accessible to all users. If you experience any accessibility issues or have feedback on improving accessibility, please contact us.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining Terms shall remain in full effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Oleksandr Ulianov regarding your use of Qibla Compass and supersede all prior understandings or communications on this subject.

17. Subscription and Cancellation Policy

17.1 Subscription Services

The App offers optional premium subscription services that unlock enhanced features and functionality. Subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or yearly basis.

17.2 Automatic Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. Renewal charges are billed to your Apple ID account.

17.3 Cancellation Process

You may cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID account settings:

• Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Select Qibla Compass
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Alternatively:

• Open the App Store app
• Tap your profile icon → Subscriptions
• Select Qibla Compass → Cancel

17.4 Cancellation Timing

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

You retain access to premium features until that period ends.

No partial refunds are provided for unused portions.

17.5 Refund Policy

Refunds are managed by Apple, according to their policies. We do not issue direct refunds. If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact Apple Support.
